Rhythmic code

In rhythmic code we write a rhythmic clave by placing the duration of the pattern (in pulses) first, and then writing the hit nomenclature of the pattern or clave. Since we know expand of the pattern we can omit the hits or strokes that are achieved through the repetition of previous ones.

Example 1

Let's imagine the next rhythmic pattern in 11/8:

This can be written in hit nomenclature like this:

3 3 3 2

This clave's code can be written like this:

11.3332

But we simplified like this:

11.3

Example 2

Let's imagine the following rhythmic pattern in 13/8:

This can be written in hit nomenclature like this:

3 2 3 2 3

This clave's code can be written like this:

13.32323

But we simplified like this:

13.32

Importante

Como vemos, podemos escribir claves simples muy sintéticamente, pero es importante poder extender la cadena de golpes completa a partir del cifrado.

Nótese que en el primer ejemplo la cadena de golpes extendida de 11.3 no es 3 3 3 3 ya que la clave sólo dura 11 pulsos, de manera que 11.3 debe extenderse a 3 3 3 2.
